The pirate wrestling club
is a Brooklyn Park Athletic Association (BPAA) sports program,
based out of Park Center Senior High School,
serving the youth of Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
About us: meet our staff
Justin is both a Coach and Founder of the Pirate Wrestling Club. He is the Head Wrestling Coach for Park Center High School, where he has been coaching for 14 years and competed as a wrestler for 6 years. Justin also played 10 years of youth and high school football, and he is the Freshman Football Coach at PC. He works at Park Center during the school year as a Special Education Paraprofessional, and he resides in Brooklyn Center with his wife, Amanda and three sons, Kellen, Kuyper, and Keaton.
Jamey wrestled competitvely for seven years and was co-captain of his High School wrestling team in Lake Zurich, IL. He also won a Junior National Freestyle Championship while living in New Zealand. He helped assist with the Pirate Wrestling Club inaugural season. He currently lives in Brooklyn Center with his wife and 3 children.

6:00 - 6:45 pm, pre-k to 2nd grade
6:30 - 7:30 pm, 3rd grade to 6th grade

High School Wrestlers volunteer as counselors at practices
Youth Wrestlers are Honored at a Park Center High School home wrestling match
Attend a University of Minnesota Gophers Wrestling Dual Meet
End of Season Banquet
Wear: Shirt and Shorts, or Sweatpants
Wrestling shoes are recommended for purchase but are not required for practice
Buy at Dick's Sporting Goods or Online (google search "wrestling shoes"
If no wrestling shoes, clean, inside-use only tennis shoes (not worn outside) should be used
Bring a water bottle
